Pathfinder (Wrath of the Righteous)
Shields of Sarkoris
Shields of Sarkoris (ACR 1)
-——————————————————
Medium (75) army of humans (Barbarians 2)
Tactical Size: 1; Speed: 4; Initiative +1;
12 hp (current: 1)
DV 13; OM +3 (short range)
Resources: slings, Improved cold iron axes, improved armors, casters support, 12 provisions
Morale +1; Consumption 6; VP 0
Tactics:
- Standard – no additional modifiers to its OM, DV, or damage.
- Withdraw – In melee phase the army attempts an opposed Morale check against each army attacking it to maintain discipline (any army may voluntarily fail this check), but doesn’t need to attempt the usual Morale check to change tactics when switching to withdraw. If all of these checks are successful, your army may withdraw from the engagement and move up to its speed. If only some are successful, you may still withdraw, but enemy armies in the battle may attack you as if you were in Melee. Whether or not the checks are successful, reduce your army’s OM and DV by 2 for the rest of this phase.
-
Fight on the run – The army doesn’t reduce it’s DV while making a double move (Hustling).
Special Resources: -
casters support – Add +1 to OM and DV (calculated). Twice per battle, the Casters Support can increase OM bonus by additional +1 for one round.
Special Abilities: - Fast movement – +1 to speed (calculated)
-
Rage – 1/day. Increase the army’s OM by 2 for melee, decrease its DV by 1, and add a +1 bonus on its Morale checks against fear and routing. While this is in effect, the army can’t use the withdraw tactic or benefit from flanking and cooperative fighting; nor can it use the defensive or cautious strategies. If using such a tactic or strategy, you immediately switch to the standard tactic and strategy.
